I needed to send a personal ‘thank you’ for your valuable assistance in transferring our site last week. I found out later that the office had a pool going as to how long the whole process would take and how long we’d be down. They were all shocked when we weren’t down at all! (I took credit for it even though Host Gator took care of the entire transfer process and I didn’t have to do anything. Thanks for making me look good…I owe you! :)
I was chatting with Mike from support yesterday and he says our package even includes our own toll-free number! This is great news because I’ve been meaning to set one up but thought I’d be too bogged down with details of the site transfer. My cursory research was showing them to be costly and now I find out we’ll have it for free, that’s terrific.
I also appreciate that you didn’t lock us into a contract but I can assure you, with how great you’ve been, we’re going nowhere! Thanks again for making the transition so painless.

Recently I had to change my hosting service, because the company I worked with was too slow, and their customer service was really poor. It took me a while to find the right hosting company because there are just so many choices. Well, I started reading up on different hosting companies and found an extremely reliable and attentive host, HostGator. Their friendly customer service team along with a plethora of features made the decision quite easy.

I went with them because they promised 99.9% uptime and had a 45 day guarantee. I watched them like a hawk for downtime and was going to jump off and freak out on them if they were going to try to get out of the guarantee because I can’t have my site be down. But it was fine and I didn’t have to see if they’d honor it. And I haven’t had it be down yet and that was a few months ago that I signed on so that’s good.
They kept telling me how much better their customer service is and I got a little irritated because I never need service but I had some files go corrupt...I didn’t realize they were still open and I was uploading and the whole thing seized up and then everything was a mess. So I was on the phone with support for a long time and it wasn’t even anything to do with them but they still helped me get it all sorted out so I’m kind of eternally indebted on that or I’m not sure what would have happened! Anyway I haven’t had any problems with them.
