I built a website a few months ago and it didn’t look that great but I needed to get it live. I signed up with Lunar Pages and noticed the free software, so thought I’d try some tools out. The software and video tutorials helped me really improve my site, and even helped me install FPE and now it’s a snap to do updates. I learned about ASP, Java, Apache, certificates, and set up stat tracking. My first site is live but now I’m working on another one with one of the free WordPress themes. I wish I’d signed on with Lunar Pages before because this second site looks a lot better and does more.
The support team wasn't just helpful, they were knowledgeable. You call support at a lot of places and get someone reading from a script or they keep transferring you and nobody seems to have an answer. Everyone I’ve talked to at lunarpages clearly knows what they’re doing and is very helpful!
Thanks for everything! You’ve got a customer for life.

Searching for web hosting companies is easy, but finding a good web hosting company is another matter! There are thousands of options, even cheap options, but price isnt the only thing that should be considered. One of the best companies I have ever worked with, is Lunarpages. Their response to questions or issues I came across was quick and efficient. The support team has tended to all of my web development needs, and the extra services they provide are well worth the price. Lunar pages is not a new company, they have been in existence for almost 10 years, and always strive for the best customer service possible.

I’ve been with them for a year and I’m picky so that’s really saying something. Plus I spent a really long time researching before I purchased a hosting plan and they have like everything which is pretty much what I needed. Like it supports python which is just the holy grail of languages, it’s what they did Quake 2 in, of course it also supports perl and I graduated from that when they were probably figuring out how servers work.
You can customize the error pages which adds a nice touch of a la geek to my site. My only complaint is the name lunarpages is kind of dorky but that’s their cross to bear. I’m not really a support addict because I want to perfect without some dork trying to tell me how to do it but I have a friend who’s a newb that just signed on and he loves them, they’re like his new best friends. He’s still on Front Page though so he needs the help.
Anyway, if you’re not sophisticated enough to know the difference then I guess you can just go with anyone because you probably can’t even tell if your site’s down.
